hey south jersey, i'm chuck, welcome to my bio.
tall, handsome, full head of hair, athletic, chiseled features, GQ wardrobe, sex appeal.
ok, none of that is me...but i can wish.
while you may find me filling in here and there on the shark during the week and the weekend, you will almost always hear me on block party Sunday night.
i came to the shark in the late summer of 2007. i've worked at several radio stations in south jersey, and for a brief time, i worked at a top 40 philadelphia station. i have lived in south jersey my whole life, born and raised in cherry hill, i have now lived just west of hammonton, in a little neighborhood in the country, for 24 yrs.

i root for all of the philadelphia sports teams, but my heart bleeds for the eagles, with 2010 being my 35th consecutive year attending the games.
i have the same group of friends i've had since junior high, still see them quite a bit, and keep in touch with them often. obviously, only working at the shark for about 6 hours a week, i have other business ventures that i am involved with to help pay the bills, and i usually work about 50-60 hours per week even before i get to the station on Sunday night.
at home, you'll find me relaxing with TV, or working on the computer. if you listen, you'll find that i have an immense working knowledge of classic rock, am very well read, and i'm not afraid to look up even more information right there while i'm on the air, to help bring you the listeners the most accurate and entertaining info about the music and artists we play, as well as things happening in our world.
i also like to have some fun on the air from time to time, as you will hear some occasional sarcastic humor that is usually self-depricating and directed at one of my many personal flaws. ( there's just too much good material to ignore ). listen on Sunday nights, or whenever you hear me on the air. hopefully, you'll find it fun, entertaining and informative, and of course, some kick-ass classic rock !
